Sirenalia is dedicated to helping not only our friends in the ocean, but also our friends on land.

Every year on our Belize Mermaid Retreat, we donate all profits to The Ocean Academy. The Ocean Academy is an on-island nonprofit that benefits the local children's education. Beyond donating our profits, we also have one of their students ride alongside us on the boats to learn the art of underwater photography!

The other school on the Belizean island of Caye Caulker is a cute little pre-school. For the last two years, we popped in while in full mermaid gear & blew the kid’s minds! We’ll be doing it again this year, answering any mermaid questions they have and throwing a little magic their way. This is basically the fast track to the heart of everyone on the island! After this, the kids (& parents!) light up when they see you out & about! There’s no famous quite as fulfilling as island famous!

We are so excited to be organizing the first ever Mermaid River Clean-up in the beautiful San Marcos River this September!

During our San Marcos Mermaid Retreat, we will be combing the river with our fellow mermaids and mermen to collect any and all garbage from the riverbed.

Live in central Texas? You're invited! Come on out, take a break from the heat, and swim with mermaids as we make the river a cleaner and safer place!

Sirenalia Retreats always aim to give back to the local communities, and leave the waters cleaner than when we arrived. We aim to raise awareness about the troubles that our oceans, lakes and rivers are facing, and we take every opportunity we can to help our underwater friends.
